Notes

'Ziggy' iris (Iris 'Ziggy') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and fragrant gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun. Yellow flowers with lavender and reddish purple markings open from early to late spring. Rabbits rarely make it their first choice. Divide the clumps every two to three years just after blooming, and plant the rhizomes at or just below soil level.

Pairs well with Picture peony, Dalmatian bellflower, and Sedge.
