Notes

'Brandley' Canadian hemlock (Tsuga canadensis 'Brandley') is a tree for specimen planting, hedges, and privacy screens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes part sun to full shade and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Deer rarely make it their first choice. It is an evergreen with an arching habit and a rapid growth rate, and birds visit it.

Pairs well with Regal Splendor hosta, Canadian white violet, and Strawberry Sundae panicle hydrangea.
