Notes

'Jet Trail' Japanese quince (Chaenomeles superba 'Jet Trail') is a shrub for borders, hedges, and low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. White flowers open from early to late spring and are fragrant. Bees and birds visit the plant, and it tolerates drought. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first.

Pairs well with Lenten rose, Armenian grape hyacinth, and First Knight fountain grass.
