Notes

'Pink Lady' Japanese quince (Chaenomeles superba 'Pink Lady') is a shrub for borders, hedges, and low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. It blooms in early to late spring, and the fragrant flowers attract bees and birds. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. The shrub is also drought tolerant.

Pairs well with Lenten rose, Armenian grape hyacinth, and First Knight fountain grass.
